Insurance & Payment

Acupuncture is not covered by most private insurance plans in North Carolina, and our clinic does not bill insurance directly. While some Medicare Advantage plans may cover acupuncture only for chronic low back pain, this coverage is limited and varies by plan.

For all other conditions, acupuncture is considered an out‑of‑network service.

We are happy to provide a detailed superbill after each visit so you can submit it to your insurance for possible out‑of‑network reimbursement, depending on your plan’s benefits. Many patients receive partial reimbursement this way.

HSA and FSA payments are also accepted.
